Awards

The Missouri Community College Athletic Conference awards the following in each of the conference championship sponsored sports:

1) Conference Championship Plaque

2) Conference Coach of the Year Plaque

3) 1^st Team All-MCCAC Individual Plaques

4) 2^nd Team All-MCCAC Individual Certificates

Longtime contributors to the MCCAC are awarded plaques for their tenure serving the conference as athletic directors, secretaries, sports information directors, athletic trainers and other capacities.

Coaches within the conference are awarded certificates for reaching milestones in victories.

The Gene Bess MCCAC Conference Coach of the Year was instituted in 2020 in honor of the retirement of the legendary Three Rivers Community College basketball coach. Coach Bess retired in 2020 as the all-time winningest basketball coach in history at any level. His Raiders captured two NJCAA national titles and numerous conference and region championships over his storied career.

The conference athletic directors will vote on the conference coach from any sport most deserving on annual basis to receive the Gene Bess MCCAC Conference Coach of the Year Award.
